Girls Like Dirty Biking Too!

If you have known me for a while you know that I love riding my off road motorcycles! It is a serious passion of mine. I used to be a nationally rank motorcross racer and have ridden off road motorcycles since I was 5 years old.  I am even an off road motorcycle instructor! I have done everything from motorcross, enduro, flat track, short track and even observed trials.  So off road motorcycling is in my blood and I was raised on it!  Here are a couple of pictures from the past year!

So here is the really crazy part!  Imagine my surprise upon meeting Catalina Cruz (a fellow Arizonian) to find out that this lovely and sexy woman is also a Dirt Biker! I met Catalina Cruz through the wonders of Twitter (follow her @CatalinaCruz) and she is such a cool person. Although we’ve not met in real life yet, we’ve become buddies through twitter and plan to meet soon with our spouses.  But here is what really blew me away …. a super hot and sexy online adult star would be willing to risk her body and career for the joy of off road motorcycling?  Catalina participates in both motorcross and trail riding and her passion for the sport throws caution to the wind as she enjoys her two wheel rush! What to go Catalina!  So this goes to show you that not just guys can enjoy off road motorcycling! Girls can love it too!

Please follow Catalina Cruz on Twitter and visit her site. She is a totally cool person that keeps grounded and a “real” woman that enjoys her life, her website and her hobbies.

Five Best Twitter Clients

written By Jason Fitzpatrick, 9:00 AM on Sun Sep 27 2009

Note: I did not write this article. It is published here under creative commons license and from the website lifehacker.com!

01

Twitter has risen to prominence as the most popular place to share your thoughts in short snippets. If you’re underwhelmed with the Twitter web site and looking for more features, you’ll definitely want to check out the five Twitter clients showcased here.

Earlier this week we asked you to share your favorite Twitter client and what it had done to win you over. Now we’re back to share the top five contenders.

TweetDeck (Windows/Mac/Linux/iPhone, Free)
02

TweetDeck boasts the ability to monitor multiple social-networking services, in this case Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace. You can fight Twitter spam with a built-in spam monitor, follow topics with saved searchs, and preview shortened URLs from within TweetDeck. You can use TweetDeck to manage multiple Twitter accounts from one interface and thanks to web-based TweetDeck accounts you can backup and sync your TweetDeck profile across multiple machines.

Brizzly (Web-Based, Free)
03

If you’ve been reading over the various Twitter clients in today’s Hive Five and thinking “I don’t want some fancy application, I just want the actual Twitter web site to be more functional!”, then you’ll definitely want to check out Brizzly. The first thing that strikes you after logging into your Brizzly account is how similar it is to the actual Twitter interface—except vastly improved. Shortened URLs are automatically expanded, links to pictures and videos are automatically thumb-nailed and easy to preview. The left and right navigation columns are fixed, so as you scroll through the tweets you never lose sight of useful links. Brizzly is a super-charged version of the Twitter web interface. One thing, if you’re ready to try Brizzly out. You’ll need an invitation to the service. Fortunately invitations aren’t hard to come by, Twitter is buzzing with them. Search Twitter with this link and check out invitations until you find one with an active use left.

Seesmic (Web-Based/Windows/Mac/iPhone, Free)
04

Seesmic not only has a diverse platform base—you can use it on the web, on your PC or Mac, and on your iPhone—but you can also use it not only for keeping up on Twitter but Facebook too. The Seesmic desktop application, built on Adobe Air, is quite configurable. You can specify which URL shortening and image hosting services you want to use, what kind of notifications you receive, how large of an event timeline Seesmic will build, and how you want all that information displayed. Video and pictures can be inserted into shared directly from Seesmic.

Tweetie (Mac/iPhone, Free)
05

Tweetie definitely has the most interactive GUI of any of the Twitter clients in today’s Hive. On top of features like threaded conversations and direct messages, you can grab pieces of your Twitter stream and pull them right off. See a topic you’re interested in keeping an eye on? You can pull it right off into a separate window. Want more than one reply window to compose multiple messages? Not a problem. Tweetie is free—but ad-supported—you can pay $19.95 to get an ad-free version.

DestroyTwitter (Windows/Mac/Linux, Free)
06

DestroyTwitter is a very compact Twitter client that has a very IM-window kind of appearance. Everything is presented, by default, in one column which can be cycled through various views via the buttons along the top and bottom of the window—Home, Replies, Saved searches, for example. You can expand DestroyTwitter to present multiple columns at once and give it an appearance more similar to some of the other Twitter clients available, but many people prefer the simple and compact one column default. If you’re looking for a lightweight Twitter client and you don’t mind sacrificing some of the bells and whistles you get on the other clients like expansion of shortened URLs and thumb-nailed images, DestroyTwitter is worth a look.

A Definition

A friend of mine did a blog asking all her friends to comment with their definition of love. This is mine…

Most people think of love as a concept – an intangible element that we spend our lives searching for, grasping like grains of sand but rarely holding tightly enough to fully experience. Some people even believe it’s a myth – a poor attempt to place a label on excuses for human inadequacies.

I say love is something you can see, almost everywhere, once you put reason in the trunk and allow whimsical to ride shotgun.  It’s physical and metaphorical, apparent and incalculable, subtle yet smothering. Right now, where you sit, look and you’ll see it.

Love is the sweat dripping from a father’s forehead as he tightens the chain on his daughter’s bike. It’s the tension in the muscles of a hand holding a pick over the strings of Stratocaster illuminated by flood lights and vibrating from twenty thousand screams. It is the water drawn 300 feet in the air by a redwood tree.

Love is the smacking sound of an old man’s lips as he sips his morning coffee and the smile on an old woman’s face as she takes the compliment. It is a teacher rubbing her eyes so they will function after midnight as she grades her student’s work, the record sprint of a child from the bus to the lap of her mom, the tightness of the hug between the two, and the electromagnetic force behind the piece of rubber holding the paper with a big red “A+” on it to the refrigerator.

Love lives at that exact point at which an artist’s brush makes contact with the canvas. It jumps off a puppy’s wet nose, goes through a child’s face into his blood, and straight to his heart, and love softens the rough handle of a shovel when the family pet is buried. Love pushes the atmosphere out of the way of sound waves created by every blues song, and feeds off the embrace of couples on the dance floor.

Love follows tears down faces that cry and follows the edge of the moth up faces that laugh. It follows wave to the beach and sunsets out to sea.  It is the stitching that holds together the quilt your grandmother made that lays folded on the back of the chair in the corner, and the neck tie from your son in your closet that doesn’t match anything.

Love tugs at the hands of outside hospital waiting rooms and makes the slides on playgrounds slicker. It is the thing that brings people to your house unannounced. It is a losing player offering a handshake to the winner after a football game and scabs on his arms and legs when he tries harder the next week. Love has never gone to war but has never left the side those affected by it.

Love is that is those things, and love is the feeling over your entire body at the exact moment you realize that all is this is true.

Timmy

The DDS is stupid.

So basically I hate the DDS. First of all I don’t get why they changed the name to begin with what was wrong with the DMV? But I guess the reason why I hate them is because it seems like there is always one person who truely hates life and wants nothing more than to make you hate it too. and then on top of that they’re being a complete asshole to you even though you’re simply trying to figure out of to take care of your problem in a nice and calm manner. Then you find out that they can’t help you and you have to mail your stuff off to the Dept. of driver’s services in conyers. What is so special there. I just wanted to give them my money and form and leave. but no. i had to leave without accomplishing anything and return to the bank to deposit the money i had withdrawn so i could write freaking check! today just kind of sucked. probably because i’m sleep deprived. i’ll probably go crash in a minute. But thats my rant about the DDS. I should start calling it the department of dick sucking.

Webmaster Life Entry 1

I often get guys telling me on Twitter or Email that “man, you have the greatest job in world”. I do love my job I admit. I am certainly not doing this to get rich that is for sure! I started in the online adult community back in the mid-1990’s because I am a true believer that the “woman next door” is often the most beautiful woman in the world. I always believed this, even as teenager. Contrary to the images put forth in the common magazines of the day like Penthouse, Playboy, Glamour, Vogue and Cosmopolitan I believe most men enjoy the “real woman”. Not that the models in those magazines are not real or pretty, they are both of those. However, they are unattainable for the mortal man … LOL!

Not only do I get to work with such great women, but often I get to meet them. And there have even been a few over the years that I’ve had the chance to play with, not often but a couple times.

Most of the women I work with are great women, but Dreamnet also mirrors real life in the sense that every so often you run across someone you are working with that is just a complete ass or stuck on themselves. These types of women never end up working out on Dreamnet. In the Amateur Adult Arena I think once a viewer figures out a woman is stuck on herself she is doomed. Guys can smell a stuck up woman a million miles away LOL!

If you are like me you are looking for women that are real and obtainable. You know, the kind of woman that if you ran into her at the bar or the mall you’d be like “I have a chance with her”. A woman that is down to earth, nice and obtainable. Yes I know all of us men have our physical preferences. But I can honestly say that for me, those physical preferences are often forgotten about if I really like someone on a personality level.

Whenever a new woman comes to Dreamnet one of the first questions I get asked “how much does the average Dreamgirl make” and next is exactly what I tell them. “It’s almost impossible to come up with an average. We have women that make very little per week and women that make a lot per week. And that’s because being an online adult amateur is 80% personality and 20% looks.” What I mean when I tell women this is that the Internet has so much free porn there is no reason a guy has to spent one penny on Internet Porn. If all a guy wants to do is jack off there are a million sites online that let you do that for free. So what makes an amateur adult woman attractive to someone, one thing, their personality. As far as I can tell this is the only reason a guy will buy a amateur site. A woman’s personality (80%) combined with her content (20%) is what makes a man attracted to her site. I know this because I was one of those men long before becoming the Dreamnet Webmaster. Since being a webmaster on Dreamnet I have witnessed women of every shape, size and color make money … and I have seen women of every shape, size and color not make money. The one differentiating factor is personality!

Ok Ok … I’m rambling now. But that is what I want these Webmaster posts to be about. My life and thoughts here on Dreamnet! And if you have specific questions you’d like to see answered in this column email them to dreamnetrob@gmail.com or reply to this post.

One thing I have always enjoyed about being a webmaster is the “special pictures” I get from Dreamgirls every once in a while. I cherish these photos because they make me feel a little special and like somebody out there gives a damn LOL! They just add a little sunshine in my life. Her are couple of examples.

A cute photo Karma (former Dreamgril) took for me.
karma.jpg

Here is another example Tiffiny (former Dreamgirl) took for me on my birthday!
tiffiny.jpg

But with all it’s glory this job is also very hard and can be quite frustrating at times. I work A LOT of hours. I often put in 60 – 70 hours a week. Luckily I’m one of those people that function quite well on 5 – 6 hours sleep. Another thing that drives me nuts and caused me to tweet some negative stuff on Wednesday is apathy. Women are always saying to me, “I love doing this Rob but I need to make more money if I’m going to keep doing it”. But they don’t want to work at it? They do the content portion (20%) but they do not do the personality portion (80%). What do I mean by work at it … I mean sharing themselves and their personality. Take this blog as one example, I spent 5 days straight from a Thursday through a Tuesday working on setting up this new Dreamnet homepage and blog. I worked straight through the weekend doing 12 – 14 hour days. But how many of the Dreamnet women actually use this blog regularly? Maybe 8 or so. Most have not even made a single post. I have encouraged all the women to post in here with their updates and also non-porn related things. Anything that makes them happy. Hell I don’t care, write about the new furniture you just purchased. Why? Because it shares insight in your personality and what makes a man want to spend money on a Dreamgirl, you got it, personality. But just as with the Dreamnet Forum, only a small percentage of Dreamgirls use this blog. An even smaller percentage of Dreamnet viewers comment on posts made here. So this is one of those times that I probably busted my ass for nothing. I’m going to leave if for nothing else but for me to vent and for the google search engines. After all, the few that do use will be rewarded over time.

That’s all for now, I’ve already went on to long. And if you have specific questions you’d like to see answered in this column email them to dreamnetrob@gmail.com or reply to this post.

As the song “The Bug” by Mary Chapin Carpenter goes “Sometimes you’re the windshield and sometimes you’re the bug”. I guess right now I’m feeling more like the bug LOL!

One last note: Any Dreamgirl, hubby or Dreamnet viewer/fan out there that would like to write for this blog on any topic please let me know at dreamentrob@gmail.com and we can set it up.

(Warning: Graphic Content) UK Txt Mesagging PSA

A shocking video has been made for pupils in an attempt to stop car crashes caused by the driver texting while driving.

The short film, starring young actors from south Wales, shows a teenage girl killing four people after she uses her mobile phone to send a text.

Gwent Police said it hoped the graphic video would be shown in schools around Wales and hopefully the rest of the UK.

Research has shown texting while driving slows reaction time by 35%.

The film by Peter Watkins-Hughes has also been posted on video sharing website You Tube.

It shows in slow motion a crash caused after a girl, called Cassie, briefly loses concentration of the road while looking at her mobile.

It also includes footage of all the emergency services attending the crash scene, including the air ambulance and firefighters.

Gwent Police said it “facilitated” the crash between two cars in a bid to prevent future accidents caused by all people, but particularly young and new drivers.

Lyn Samuel, Gwent Police’s school liaison coordinator, said the film was a “very impactive road safety educational tool to help reduce the number of collisions involving young drivers across Wales”.

Ch Insp John Pavett from Gwent Police Roads Policing Unit said texting and driving was happening on roads all over the country, despite the fact it is illegal.

He said: “I hope that after watching this film motorists will think twice before picking up their mobile phone when behind the wheel and realise that a quick reply to a text message or answering a phone call is never worth putting theirs and other people’s lives at risk.”

Recent RAC Foundation research showed reaction times slowed by 35% when 17 to 24-year-olds drove while reading and writing text messages.

And its research last year showed that texting while driving impairs motorists more than being under the influence of drink or drugs.

It said nearly 50% of drivers aged between 18 and 24 texted while driving.

As well as reaction times being slower, it said texters often drifted out of lanes, had poorer steering control and the overall driving performance was poor.

Drivers face a £60 fine and three penalty points on their licence for using hand-held mobile phones.

Diggnation Live In Tempe, AZ

Last night Dawn Marie and I got a real treat!  We attended the Diggnation Live Show in Tempe, AZ.  We are both huge fans of Digg and Diggnation and I have watched the show since Episode #1.  So seeing last nights show was a real treat.  This all came about through the wonders of social networking.  Dawn Marie and I knew the show was coming to town and since it is a free show tickets are always hard to come by unless you are able to to stand in line for hours.  Since I had to work all day standing in line was not an option.  I got a hold of one of the guys on the show via twitter and through the wonders of social networking managed to score some tickets.  It was so AWESOME because Dawn Marie and I were on the guest list and able to sit just a few rows back dead center in front the stage. The house was packed and we would have never had this opportunity if it wasn’t for contacting the guys through twitter, so thank you and you know who you are!

It was a great show last night and if you have not yet discovered the joy of Online TV or Podcasting I highly suggest you check out some of the shows at revision3.com!

Thanks to Hippy Glen, David Prager, Alex Albrecht & Kevin Rose. It was a hell of night for Dawn Marie and I !

I’ve attached a few pictures and about 50 seconds of pre-show video I took with my little pocket camera!

Man’s Brain During An Agument!

RIP Les Paul

Les Paul, who invented the solid-body electric guitar later wielded by a legion of rock ‘n’ roll greats, died Thursday of complications from pneumonia. He was 94. As an inventor, Paul also helped bring about the rise of rock ‘n’ roll with multitrack recording, which enables artists to record different instruments at different times, sing harmony with themselves, and then carefully balance the tracks in the finished recording.

Pete Townsend of the Who, Steve Howe of Yes, jazz great Al DiMeola and Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page all made the Gibson Les Paul their trademark six-string. Over the years, the Les Paul series has become one of the most widely used guitars in the music industry. In 2005, Christie’s auction house sold a 1955 Gibson Les Paul for $45,600.

Shout Out To the Urban Libertine

I wanted to throw a shout out to The Urban Libertine!  Dawn Marie and I know him as Big Dee! We met him way back in the early 2000′s and lost track of him which was a real bummer.  But when we all started getting on Twitter we hooked up Big Dee and his mate Slut Momo and its been a blast ever since!  I am so glad we found them again.  He gave Dreamnet a real shout out recently in his blog, Dreamy for Dreamnet!

3

Big Dee has had his hands in Amateur Internet Porn since late 1990′s and doing everything from running his own sites to producing movies to be sold through the popular DVD distribution channels.

The best thing about Big Dee is even though he has had some big success in the Pro-Am adult world he has remained very grounded and just a nice dude to hang with and talk with.

Recently Big Dee and Slut Momo even attended Serena’s Bday Bash in upstate New York showing support for the lovely ladies of Dreamnet.

Please visit his site and let him know that Dreamnet Rob sent you over to see him! If you like Interracial content this dude has some of the hottest amateur Interracial pictures and videos you can find!

Five Best Video Players

Written By Jason Fitzpatrick, 9:00 AM on Sun Aug 9 2009

Note: I did not write this article. It is published here under creative commons license and from the website lifehacker.com!

01
We’ve come a long way since animated GIFs and video-game-style MIDI files were considered cutting edge computer-provided A/V entertainment. Take advantage of today’s high-quality video with one of these five most popular video players.

Earlier this week we asked you to share your favorite video player. We’ve tallied up the votes and now we’re back to share the results. Below you’ll find the five most popular video players among Lifehacker readers. If you’re dissatisfied with the features of your current player, it’s a great shopping list of alternatives.

The movie used in the screenshots below is Big Buck Bunny—a completely open-source generated and Creative Commons-licensed short movie.

Media Player Classic (Windows, Free)
02

Media Player Classic started out as a project to preserve the simplicity and lightweight playback of the old Windows Media Player while keeping codecs and features current for the present generation of video. The outcome is an extremely lightweight, free, portable, and self-contained video player that has built-in codecs for a wide variety of media playback. The upside of such a design is you can use it on a machine that doesn’t have the proper codecs installed for the video you want to watch. The downside is in some instances—although rare—it can conflict with an updated codec you have installed on your machine.

MPlayer (Windows/Mac/Linux, Free)
03

Originally designed to fill the void of a lack of adequate Linux media players, the development for the robust media player MPlayer has branched out and now includes versions for Windows and Mac, among others. MPlayer supports a wide variety of content and, perhaps owing to its Linux roots, pays extra close attention to hardware and hardware optimization to squeeze the most playback power out of your system.

GOM Player (Windows, Free)
04

GOM Player is another entrant in this week’s Hive that, like VLC, excels at playing damaged and incomplete video. Originally designed as the streaming media player for GOM-TV, a Korean TV network, it is available outside of Korea with the GOM-TV streaming functionality disabled—although folks outside Korea still have access to the live streaming of StarCraft matches (StarCraft is so wildly popular among Koreans playing it is practically a national sport). GOM Player also includes a wide variety of sub-title tweaks, an important feature for a player from a country that consumes a lots of foreign media.

VLC (Windows/Mac/Linux, Free)
05

VLC is a media player with far-reaching appeal. It is available for over ten operating systems including systems as obscure as BeOS. Built with open-source code and fueled by free decoding and encoding libraries, it has a history of innovation and performance; it was, for example, the first player that could play back encrypted DVDs on Linux. VLC allows you to play incomplete or damaged videos, so you can decide if it is worth finishing a download or repairing a video file. VLC can also play a variety of formats not commonly supported by media players, such as a raw DVD ISO file or AVCHD—a format currently used by many HD camcorders. VLC is available as a portable application.

KMPlayer (Windows, Free)
06

If you like all your media player’s settings at your fingertips, KMPlayer has a lot to offer. The right click context menu is absolutely enormous and gives you nearly instant access to all manner of settings, including screen ratio, playback speed, video bookmarking, filters, and other effects. You can set KMPlayer to change its skin based on what media type you’re playing or if you’re running it on a media center you can use an overlay skin to provide easy remote-based navigation. KMPlayer supports an extensive number of formats including DVD playback and is easily customized to your specific needs.

DUI risk reduction… yuck

So in about two hours I’ll be on my way to my first of four days in a risk reduction class. I have no idea whats going to happen during it. I just know that i’ll be there for 8 hours and that its costing us a fortune. Has anyone ever to take a DUI risk reduction class before? If so what do they make you do? I really hope there is no test at the end. If theres a test and I fail it, I’m going to be seriously pissed. I think that people with drug related charges go to the same risk reduction class as DUI’s, if thats case its kind of retarded. I don’t think its a good idea to force people with substance abuse problems into the same room for extended periods. It just gives them a chance to network and get more connections. I really don’t want to be around people with substance abuse problems (that are content with their current situations. rehab is fine, but most people in risk reduction are there becuase its court ordered), because i’m still trying to overcome my issues with it and i’m doing pretty well for once. I’m easily persuaded and the thought of it scares me. I know it kind of sounds rediculous. but i don’t know if i can bounce back the next time so i don’t even want to be in the position to where it could happen.   UHG… i’m sorry i’m kind of ranting now. I’m just worried and in a nervous hyper state. :) Have a wonderful day.

Dalia Dippolito Hires Hitman (Video)

Un-f’ing-believable! Dalia Dippolito of Boynton Beach, Florida hires hitman to kill her husband and then breaks down when the cops tell he’s dead (but he’s not!) Life is truly stranger than fiction!

Part 2:
